Dillian Whyte stopped Lucas Browne with a knockout of the year candidate at the O2 London to retain his WBC Silver title.
Whyte had bossed the fight from the opening bell with Browne of Austrailia looking heavy and slow.
Lucas Browne was always just looking for the one big shot but Whyte was very defensively sound covering up on the ropes well and discouraging the Aussie.
The finish from Dillian Whyte came in the 6th round and left Browne unconcious and face down needing medical attention. Thankfully Browne is alright as that was an incredibly heavy knockout and surely a contender for knockout of the year.
Browne who suffered his first defeat in the pro ranks slips to 25-1 whilst Whyte moved to World Title contention he wants WBC kingpin Deontay Wilder but there’s always the possibility of the Joshua rematch.
Dillian Whyte is a man with options..
